First year Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn managed his team to a rare win on the road in Dallas yesterday, a 26-24 victory over a legitimate Super Bowl contending Cowboy team. In four games, the former Seattle Seahawks quarterback and quarterback coach has Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell playing like an elite NFC signal caller. He was 20-31 for 231 yards and two touchdowns yesterday. Campbell is carrying a 102.2 passer rating and has yet to throw an interception this season.Zorn seems to have righted a ship that looked to be going in the wrong direction when the Redskins dropped their opener to the New York Giants. Many in the media wondered if Zorn was a bad head coaching choice for Washington. The Redskins are now 3-1 and some are saying they’re serious contenders for the NFC East title.
"I've always said this is going to be a process," Zorn told the Associated Press. "We have to maintain our composure after this win, too. We're not going to the Super Bowl next week."

It is amazing how quick some people are to judge others after only one game, as many did with good ol' #10 after his head coaching debut. Even as a true blue #12 Seattle fan living in Texas, I was still happy for Zorn in their win over America's team. I must also admit, I was also very happy when Dallas could not convert on a short field goal allowing Seattle to move on in the playoffs. I guess living in God's country (Texas) still hasn't converted me over 100% to the Cowboys...could it be Jerry's world is holding me back. It is amazing when a man worth that much money, builds a 1 Billion dollar stadium and ask the public to help foot the bill. No, not everyone needs a new home to play in.
It's great to see Zorn getting a shot and doing well. That game yesterday was perfect for me. Portis and Romo are on my fantasy team and one of my childhood heroes coached the Skins to a nice win against a very good team on the road. Win, win, win.
